At the ongoing Lacmo Fashion Week X FDCI, designer Duo Saxa and Kinney presented the Sunstopper Party. This collection was about paying tribute to traditional Indian motifs and raising them by giving them a global touch. The designer pair got Ishaan Khat on board to close the showcase.
The collection of Saksa and Kinney took inspiration from Adalj Saucelewell in Gujarat. The collection included Bohemian floral motifs and geometric patterns in bold prints. With a mixture of feminine clothing with strong silhouettes, techniques such as micro-plating, layering and statement-making design were depicted in the collection.
Ishaan Khat ran the ramp in a terracotta-head co-ord set. The pants came with a flowing silhouette and all of them had a floral pattern in red. The actor connected these pants with a matching shirt. They left some buttons in disarray and layered it with a matching jacket. The sleeve of the jacket was rolled to give a comfortable attraction to the overall. To give more comfort to the look, he combined the dress with a pair of black stripped flats. Ishaan set the runway on fire when he took off his shirt and broke his abs.
The collection of Saaksha & Kinni featured light chiffon, cotton and satins, which makes it an ideal pick for summer. The summer-redi collection also included Lycra Swimwear and Canvas Jacket, which added a pointed touch. With incense oranges, brown, water blues, vibrant red and purse, the color palette reflected the essence of Gujarat. The collection consisted of pieces such as Floi dress, co-orders, kfton and elder jackets that may be part of a chic, high holiday wardrobe.
Lakm, Fashion Week, in partnership with Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), is being held from 26-30 March at Jio World Convention Center, Mumbai.
