Apple has discontinued its latest operating system for beta testing, meaning some exciting new features are available.
The new systems run on Apple devices with the advent of iOS 18.4, MACOS 15.4, Watches 11.4, iPados 18.4, TVOS 18.4, and Visionos 2.4.
This is the RC beta round, which means that it is the fourth recurrence and – significantly – the closest to the final version we can expect to see.
While many characteristics have been around since the earlier beta release, it gives a chance to try in a more final and stable position. These are the best bits to play now:
iOS 18.4 RC beta features
Now the latest iOS is the most current version of Apple Intelligence available in 18.4. Especially this localization supports and image combines a new sketch style to the playground, as well as the ability to accommodate priority information.
Macos 15.4 RC Beta Latest
Available in the latest MACOS release, fresh classifications and information, new emoji options, quick start with MAC when installing new devices, and an Apple is a major update to Apple Mail with intelligence extension.
Watchos 11.4 upgraded RC Build
This is one of the most new features on this Watches Build Upgrade. There is a new togle that allows the alarm to be set to break through the silent mode. This should mean that you can set your watch to not bother you while sleeping, but still play sounds and haptics to wake you up when needed. You also have seven new emojis available.
iPados 18.4 RC new additions
The new iPados brings fresh on-device email classification settings with it-like in Macos Sequoia 15.4. The new Apple intelligence languages have been added, the image is here in the playground sketch style land, and Jenmji here.
Tvos 18.4 RC beta features
Apple is the new insight to TV that displays information about actors, characters and music of Apple TV+ content – yes, a lot of Amazon prime. Dialogue is also increased for more vocal clarity and it works through homepod speakers, airpods, Bluetooth devices and more. There is also support for 21: 9, coupled screen saver, as well as a re -designed apple fitness+for TV.
Visionos 2.4 RC Upgrade
This update connects Apple Intelligence to offer writing tools – including Chatgpt Integration – Image Playground and Genmoji. There is also spatial gallery, providing spatial videos, photos and panorama curated by filmmakers and artists.
