Six months ago, a frightening car accident brought Mushir Khan’s life to grind. A fracture around the neck area meant that the young batting all -rounder from Mumbai was excluded in any form of cricket for more than three months, and had to remember the entire domestic season.
However, after cricketers came from a family – his father Naushad is a famous coach and elder brother Sarfaraz is an India international – most of the conversation at home revolves around the game.
“Since I could not shake my neck and was to be mostly on bed, playing cricket, it was out of the question, but at home, Abbu and our brothers would only talk about cricket, so my world revolves around the game,” Mushir said. Sportstar,
Subsequently, he did not imagine that he would be selected by Punjab Kings for his first Indian Premier League, but Mushir knew that he would have to go back to his feet and soon returned to the pitch.
“I saw all our Ranji Trophy matches and Iranian Trophy fixtures on television, and since the Border-Gavaskar Trophy was on, I saw all the matches. Abbu, my brother Moane and I often discussed the game, and I knew that whatever happened to me was sad to accept what I had.

In September, Musher and Naushad were the routes from Musher and Naushad Azamgarh to Lucknow to the Iranian Cup game between Mumbai and the rest of India. The SUV, carrying him, collided with his father and two others one Madhyika and both were rushed to the hospital.
“I am very happy that I got a new life and I want to enjoy it now,” said Musheer.
After recovering, Musheer went to the center of excellence in Bangalore for his rehabilitation program and eventually began training with his father. “Once I returned home, I slowly started training at home in Astroturf with Abbu. Father And Moen Brother, And went to play local matches before joining the Punjab Kings camp for the IPL, ”he said.
The rhythm was difficult to regain after a long injury. “I had to monitor things regularly, because sometimes you develop cramps or witness inconvenience after returning to action with a long break, so it was step by step. Another goal was to make sure that I got my Mojo back in terms of bowling.
Being chosen by Punjab Kings in the IPL auction was a big thing for the young man, and despite the difficult times, inspired him to continue.
Musheer has already managed to attract the attention of head coach Ricky Ponting in the Punjab camp. Australians recently praised him and said: “He (Musher) has already brought a lot to the group. He has got an infectious attitude around the training ground and the team so far. He is someone with whom I am really fun to work.”

Musheer is also eager to learn a lot from Ponting. “This has been a great experience till now. When he talks to us, when he teaches us something, it does not seem that a big shot is explaining us. I like his attitude and I have learned a lot of things. But there is a lot to learn,” said Musheer.
Musher has discussed power-touching with Ponting. “I talked to him about power-touching. And the bridge shot, which was his favorite. He was hit on the front leg, so I asked him how he used to keep his head stable. And how stable he lived. And he told me about power-touching. He wanted me to play his natural game and do nothing. It was about keeping things simple.”
Sarfaraz was seen heating the bench in the IPL in the past, Musher knows that he would have to wait for his opportunity in the league, and he is ready for it. “This is my first year. So, I am trying to learn as much as possible,” he said. He said, “Wherever I get a chance to bat in the team, or help in the matter of bowling, I should be ready and it should be a mindset,” he said that Sarfaraz has also directed him well.
“My brother (Sarfaraz) asked me not to think about negative things and if I am sitting outside, I should see what the players are doing, what kind of field placements they are playing, what kind of field placements are there. He told me that this is my first year and I should inspect those things and learn from them …”
The car accident stopped Musheer’s dreams, but is grateful for a ‘second life’, the young man wants to march before fulfilling his dreams of donating India’s cap and wants to take small steps.
