Washington: US President Donald Trump made a good Friday at a threat to cancel the security approval of his predecessor Joe Biden and several senior former White House and National Security Officers.
The list of names snatched from his authority to see the state’s secrets included Biden, his family member and former vice -president and rival Kamla Harris of Trump President.
Former state secretary and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was defeated, along with Biden Secretary State Antony Blinkan and National Security Advisor Jacob Sulivan.
In a memorandum to the agency heads and distributed by the White House Communication Office, Trump said that the designated officers should no longer allow access to classified materials.
Trump said, “I direct the head of every executive department and agency … to cancel any active security approval organized by the above persons,” said Trump.
“I also direct all the executive departments and agency heads to cancel unconnected access to these individuals to secure the facilities of the United States Government.”
Former US presidents and National Security Officers traditionally maintain a security approval as a courtesy, and some find it useful in seeking employment with private contractors.
But Trump, who falsely claims that Biden planned to steal the 2020 election, which he lost, remained angry with his predecessor and often go out.
