Popular Hindu monk and Indian politician, Yogi Adityanath, is currently serving as 22nd Chief Minister of Uttar PradeshYogi Adityanath was appointed as UP CM in 2017 and continues to serve in the situation. A prominent person in UP politics, Yogi Adityanath is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and he is an active politician since 1998.
At the age of 21, Yogi Adityanath left his home to actively participate in 1993 Ram temple movementAfter this he became a disciple of Mahant Avaidyanath and during this time he also started his political journey. In 1998, he became the youngest Lok Sabha member of Gorakhpur at the age of 26 and since then represented Gorakhpur constituency for five terms. 1. Yogi Adiyanath was born on 5 June 1972, near Anand Singh Bisht and Savitri Devi in Panchur village, Panchur Garhwal, Uttar Pradesh (Now in UttarakhandHis real name is Ajay Singh Bisht And he has four brothers and three sisters.
2. Yogi Adiyanath was born in the Garhwali Rajput family. His father was Anand Singh Bisht, a forest ranger.
3. Ajay Singh Bisht alias Yogi Adityanath has received a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University in Uttarakhand, India (which was earlier a part of Uttar Pradesh).
4. Apart from being a prominent politician, Yogi Adityanath is also a Mahant or chief priest of Gorakhnath mathematics in Gorakhpur. After the death of his guru Mahant Avaidyanath in 2014, he was made the high priest of Gorakhnath mathematics. He founded a Hindu Yuva Vahini in 2002, a socio-cultural organization.
5. Since becoming a member of Lok Sabha in 1998, Yogi Adityanath has handled various departments for a committee like counseling committee, ministry of home affairs, etc. for years. On March 19, 2017, he was sworn in as the Chief Minister of UP and continued the post for the second term. He has also published some books, ie: ‘Yagik Shutkaram’, ‘Hath Yoga’, ‘Swarop Ivam Sadhana’, ‘Hindu Rashtra Nepal: Atit, Wartman Ivam Bhavisya’, ‘Royal: Swaroop Ivam Sadhana’.
