Famous physicist Stephen Hawking took gravity to his last limit. In doing so, he made many important progress in our understanding of black holes, cosmology and quantum gravity. In addition, his contribution to the popularization of science cements his legacy for generations to come.
Hawking began his research career in the 1960s, with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) to thoroughly inspired him to use a wheelchair instead of his voice for his adult life before his diagnosis and to communicate through technology.
