Christchurch: Reacting to his derogatory loss against New Zealand in the first T20I, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Aga has admitted the team what he needed and he was not in his best.

“It was difficult, we were not even a mark, but we needed to underline (forward to Dunedin). They really bowled well, in great areas, there was a slight movement along the seam movement. We will sit down, sit down and think about the next game,” He said at the press conference after the match.

After his comment, Hari shirts lost nine wickets against black caps in the series opener as the hosts easily chased their 92 -run target.

Expressing his views, Aga praised Pakistan’s debut performance in the match, highlighting his ability.

He said, “We had three debutants, the more they play, they will learn more. The new ball does a little in New Zealand, we have got good bowlers and we do well in the next match.”

Tourists began a five-match series in disastrous fashion, decreasing by 11–4 at the end of the fifth over, when Pacer Kyle Jaimison ran Amok with a new ball.

He was eventually rejected for his lowest score in T20I on New Zealand soil and there were some problems in responding 92–1 in just 10.1 overs to the domestic side.

Tim SEFERT and Finn Alan displayed extraordinary batting from the beginning, putting their talent with the bat, putting them on a 53 -run stand inside the powerplay.

One and half a century in the Seifert T20i format, but 44 runs were rejected by Abrar Ahmed for 29 delivery, leading to the score 53–1 from 53–1.

Tim Robinson then joined Allen and reduced the pressure, helping to chase the target in the 11th over, leading to New Zealand a 1-0 lead in the series. Finn Alan scored 29 runs, while Robinson scored 18 runs.

For Pakistan, spinner Abrar Ahmed was the only bowler to take a wicket, while the other bowlers failed to create an impact.

Earlier, in the day, Pakistan fought against a disciplined New Zealand bowling attack and was dropped for 91, Kyle Jaimisson led the charge by taking important wickets.

In Green’s innings, the men left for a devastating start, with just one run on the board before losing three quick wickets. Jaimison dismissed Mohammad Haris for a duck, while Irfan Khan scored only one run.

Debutant Hasan Nawaz also fell cheaply, for the second ball duck for Jacob Dafi, put Pakistan under initial pressure.

Vice-Captain Shadab Khan failed to stabilize the innings, scoring just three runs from six delivery before Jamisan became a third victim.

Captain Aga and Khushdil Shah resisted some resistance with a stand of 46 runs for the fifth wicket, trying to stabilize the innings. However, his efforts were not enough, as Ish Sodhi dismissed Aga for 18 runs from 20 balls, leaving Pakistan 57–5 in 11.1 overs.

Khushdil, who looked aggressive, was the only batsman to provide some fireworks, scored 32 runs including three sixes. However, his innings in the 13th over was reduced when Dafi hit again.

Pakistan will now take New Zealand in the second T20I of the five -match series on Tuesday.
