The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that it will provide free Iftar for spectators participating in the ICC Champions Trophy between New Zealand and South Africa at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on tomorrow (Wednesday) (Wednesday).
Valid match ticket fans can avail an iftar box with a date, juice and a mini pizza.
The purpose of the initiative is to increase the match-day experience for the attendees observing the fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
In addition to free Iftar, various food and beverages will be available to buy in the food stalls of the stadium.
The much awaited semi -final match is scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm, with Iftar at 6:05 pm.
PCB’s decision underlines its commitment to adjust fans to offer free Iftar and create a more inclusive and pleasant atmosphere in the stadium.
South Africa will re -emerge on a tortured discovery for its first piece of ICC Silverware since 1998, when they face New Zealand in the semi -finals of the Champions Trophy in Lahore on Wednesday.
The pair have faced each other in the 50-over format just twice since 2019-recently in a three-series stability in Lahore on 10 February.
South Africa batted first and posted 304 for six, but their inexperienced bowling line-up could not include people from New Zealand, who won with eight balls by six wickets.

New Zealand’s record is not dissatisfied. His only ICC Limited-Over tournament won the 2000 Champions Trophy, and has many Mrs. many years.
South Africa has spinned all -rounder George Linde as a cover for Aiden Markram, who hurts his hamstring in a seven wicket win over England in his final pool game.
Linde reaches Lahore on Tuesday night, so there is no possibility of convenience on Wednesday. His selection as a trip reserve may be more for a possible final against India on a slow track in Dubai on Sunday.
