    As millions of Muslims worldwide saw their first fast of the holy month, health experts issued timely warnings about the dangers of deeply fried foods, which was a traditional head of many Ramadan food.

    According to nutritionists, deep -fried foods such as samosas, spring rolls, and fried donuts were high in calories, fat and sodium, making them a recipe for disaster, especially during Ramadan when Muslims fast from morning to evening.

    Health experts recommend selecting for healthy options such as grilled meat, boiled vegetables and fresh fruits. They advise Muslims to be hydrated by drinking a lot of water and limit their sugar drinks.

    A prominent nutritionist Dr. Saima Khan said that fasting during Ramadan can be challenging, and the intake of deeply fried foods can increase dehydration, digestive issues and other health problems.

    He said that Ramadan is a time for spiritual reflection and renewal, and taking care of our physical health is an important part of it, saying that by creating informed food options, Muslims can ensure a healthy and blessed Ramadan.

    Another nutritionist Dr. Talha Imad has warned that “is a recipe for fried foods, oily snacks, and rich dessert disasters, especially during Ramadan and these foods can cause digestive issues, inflammation and discomfort, which makes it difficult to focus on your prayers and daily activities.

    He advised to break his fast with dates and water to recreate energy and hydration, which opt for lean protein, whole grains and boiled vegetables.
