George Clooney has a certain way to stay out of trouble as a public person in the era of social media: stay away from it.
In a profile for Washington Post Published on Friday, the Oscar-winning actor said that he manages to avoid a lot of risk for today’s 24/7 media cycle by not entangling on those platforms, which he admits that “if I have three drinks at night.”
He also shared, “I don’t think you may be a star and he may be available.”
It was part of a major conversation in which Clooney recognized how some of the film stars coming to him like Gregory Peck and Paul Pneumon – both of them were his friends before they died – for example how to take themselves to the headlines.
“This does not mean that you can’t be foolish and do stupid things, but it means that you are standing for things you believe, take yourself with a little dignity,” “Ticket to Paradise” said. “And both were very comic about themselves.”
Clooney, who is being honored at the Kennedy Center this month with Gladis Night and U2, is active in human efforts in addition to his chase as an actor, producer and director.
Ethan Hawk, who directed Clooney in the role of a voice in this year’s HBO documentary “The Last Movie Stars”, noticed that it was no surprise that he was receiving such a prestigious honor. (Both CNN and HBO Max are part of the same original company, Warner Brothers Discovery.)
“It is interesting that he is receiving the Kennedy Center honor this year as the Newman has also got it. They actually fit a long queue of actors responsible, who contribute to American culture and are civil leaders, ”Hawk told The Post. “Whether you like George’s politics, or praise where he gives his money and time, you will have to desire to lead, and his desire to take care.”
Steven Soderberg, whose 1998 work “Out of Vision” starred Clooney in front of Jennifer Lopez, said that the actor is unique not to care that his politics can compromise his stardom reach.
“Default mode really does not defend you a place to think about fairness, or those who cannot defend themselves. This is very good when people use that juice for the purposes, but it is not the way the stream flows, “Soderberg said about the efforts of Kleuni through his Clooney Foundation for justice with a human rights attorney wife Amal.
“The stream flows towards self-induction and whatever can be done from this business in a mode of removing it, and whatever you can do on a large scale. … He is one of the few people who punch upwards. it is rare. ,
Clooney will be depicted on December 28 at 8 pm as part of the Kennedy Center Honors on CBS.
