The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the tournament’s Champions Trophy 2025 team on Monday, with no Pakistani cricketer Mitchell Michel St.

According to a press release issued by the cricket-governing body, five players of the eight-team tournament, five players from India have been selected for the tournament team, when they defeated New Zealand in a pulsed final.

Four members of the Black Caps Squad formed the team, which included the tournament player Rachin Rabindra, and Mitchell Santner was named Captain.

Two Afghanistan players also cut off, as the Asian nation won its first ICC Men Champions Trophy match in their first presence.

At the top of the order, Ravindra was a required selection after a two-century score and topped the run-scoring chart with 263.

His 112 knock against Bangladesh was important to see New Zealand in line, and in the semi -finals against South Africa, his 108 showed that he is dangerous wherever he is bats.

He has joined the top of the order by Ibrahim Zadran. The 23-year-old Afghan left his mark on the tournament, which had a magnificent match of 177-which is the most against England in the Champions Trophy score stage stage.

Virat Kohli of India finished fifth in the run-scoring chart after slots at number three, with 218 with an average of 54.50.

Kohli won a memorable unbeaten century in his side group-winning victory over Pakistan and a significant 84 win over world champion Australia.

Team’s companions Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul join the middle-order after the impressive tournament.

Iyer was India’s top run-scorer, in which two half-century helped him score a total of 243 runs, while Rahul ended with an average of 140 in the semi-finals and an unbeaten knock of 42 and 34 respectively.

Glenn Philips of New Zealand has been selected at number six with the bat and after a brilliant performance in the field.

His diving to dismiss Shubman Gill in the final was one of the three prestigious in the one-hand catch tournament, while 28 scored a half-century against Pakistan and took two wickets against South Africa in the semi-finals to go with an unbeaten 49.

Azmatullah is the second Afghan nominated in the Omarjai team. The fast-bouling all-rounder had a great tournament with both bat and ball and finishing at 42.00 with 20 and 126 runs with 20 wickets.

Santner has been nominated as the captain of the team after finishing the tournament with nine wickets-the second most-but also raised him at a significant time.

His habit of taking a possible game-changing wicket was clear in the final. With the help of a sublime Philips Catch, he removed Shubman Gill and chased it with a wicket.

Mohammed Shami of India made a successful comeback from injury after being selected after finishing with nine wickets.

Matt Henry, unfortunately missed the finals due to a shoulder injury, selected in New Zealand’s semi -final win over South Africa, but he still finished 10.70 at 10.70 as the lead wickets of the tournament.

The team is completed by Varun Chakraborty, who took nine wickets in just three matches.

He made his entire allocation in all three matches, which he played and he never went more than 49. India’s Exer Patel was chosen as the 12th man.

The selection panel included commentators and former international players Ian Bishop, Simon Dole and Aaron Finch, Hindustan Times journalist Rasesh Mandani and ICC General Manager events and corporate communication, Gaurav Saxena.

    Tournament team:

    Rachin ravindra (New Zealand)
    Ibrahim Zadran (Afghanistan)
    Virat Kohli (India)
    Shreyas Iyer (India)
    KL Rahul (WK) (India)
