The United Nations (United Nations) and 189 countries have implemented lessons learned through efforts to support Millennium Development Goals (MDG)1,2Which was established in the year 2000, to frame a new set of global human goals which is known as Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).3,4

The aim of the new SDG is to eradicate global poverty by 2030, and the Millennium Development will build on the successes of the goals – and will address important failures.
As the human population grows up to 9 billion by 2050, our planet’s ability to provide a stable life-support system is rapidly relevant to the safety of all countries.
“The stability of the planets should be integrated with the goals of the United Nations to fight poverty and secure human welfare,” said David Grigs, director of the Monash Sustainability Institute in Australia in March 2013. Nature Article.5 Currently, 17 SDGs are being developed – to eradicate food insecurity to ensure availability of clean water for all.6
For nearly 60 years, the new SDG has been working quietly in one of the most challenging areas of Haiti towards aligned goals.
- We have installed till the date of 250 wells, providing access to clean water for more than 120,000 people. More wells are being installed every year.
- There are 10,000 children a month for malnutrition, and provides significant nutritional supplements to help keep children healthy so that they can go to school.
- Every year, about 2,000 children completely vaccinated, and have eradicated diseases such as polio, tetanus and measles from its service sector.
- It also helps to ensure that the mother and children avoid the birth of the child by providing this care that proves to be the most effective. Our physicians, nurses and community health workers encourage women to deliver their infants to a skilled birth facility such as the most important factor in determining maternal existence instead of home. Health agents also meet infants at home regularly within 72 hours of birth – the most important intervention to ensure infant existence.
In 2013, the five -year strategic plan has been adopted in 2013 that public health is fundamental for a self -sufficient Haiti. The global movement towards stability is proud to be a public health leader, and we are ready to continuously cooperate with communities we serve and to feel new sustainable development goals with our colleagues.
