Sadhguru, known to the world for his life-changing ideologies, has often talked about raising his children properly. While most experts believe that when it comes to parenting, no size is all fit, however, there are some major principles for parenting, which, according to Sadhguru, can completely change your parenting style. They are here …
Build a house that is free from stress, anger and anxiety
Parenting is a difficult task, and a one that requires immense patience and perseverance. Therefore, most of the parents, at some point, have lost patience with a recession, and their children. However, to raise gentle children, one must build a loving environment at home, or nourish – a one who is free from stress, anger and anxiety. This is the primary responsibility of parenting.

Children do not need ‘boss’, they need parents
As a parents, your primary responsibility is for your child – and not to act as its owner. Whereas it is true that your child should take your opinion on everything and anything that it does, it is equally true that you will have to give them freedom to make your decisions. Children do not appreciate someone hovering on their heads, but they need someone who can go for advice.
lead by example
Want to stop watching television to your child and start reading books? Then start it by doing it yourself. You cannot expect your child that you can start doing anything, which you want to do it/him, without displaying it first, according to the Sadhguru. Learn to lead for example – to adjust your child’s growing needs, it is okay to turn your schedule a little here and there, and increase good habits in its early years.
Do not put them in a box
Sadhguru says that restricting children in a certain type of life, harsh deadlines, ideologies and time limits prevent their development again. While a certain amount of discipline is required, children require space to grow, and in fact a place to misinformation and separate their rights. Do not box your child in what you think, at least not always.
Relay their education system
Sadhguru believes that the only purpose of education is not only bookish knowledge, but also for worldly knowledge, global affairs, etc. An educational institution should be able to expand your child’s horizon, not to clip it.

Let them experience nature
Sadhguru says that it is very essential for children to experience nature. For this, it is important that they live in addition to the technology world, children are made aware of greenery every day for a few hours, whether it is activity based or simply walking, reading a book, or having a picnic. Nature has the power to heal, not to forget, it is also good for your child’s immunity.
Do not burden your child
There will always be better than your child. Although it can be a hard pill to swallow, it is universal truth, and one that has to accept each parent. However, this does not mean that you can burden your child with your expectations, Sadhguru says. Remember, each child is unique, and the benchmark for success is different for all, so not only one definition of success, when it comes to your child.
