Jude said the investigation into retail crimes began in October, when Publix reported that a series of high -end liquor items from shops in Central Florida were being stolen. Walmart and Sam’s club made similar reports of theft at their store.
Investigators reported 32 theft and robbery cases in the Polk County alone.

In the incident, the suspects injured a female worker, who caught the car in an attempt to stop them, Jud said. The group left for a car that they then crashed into parking before fleeing a Uber.
Investigators discovered the car and found stolen liquor, cellphone and a passport.
After identifying the suspects, the law enforcement discovered that two men were already in custody for a separate robbery in Ossola County. The other three suspects were arrested on Thursday night.

“I can tell you that this violent gang was alive and well in Central Florida,” Jude said at the news conference, referring to the train de Argua.
Sheriff said the suspects raised the allegations due to their immigration situation, as he was against those they described as “criminal illegal aliens”.
“They are suffering and terrorizing people and stealing people and robbing people and killing them,” Jud said.
