We often hear Bollywood films about being inspired by Hollywood, but what if we told you that Hollywood has borrowed some ideas from the Indian film industry too? From romantic drama to psychological thriller, the Hollywood Bollywood storyline has been found here ten times.
1. A. Wednesday (2008) – A Common Man (2013)
Chandran Rutam brought the Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley to step into shoes of Naseeruddin Shah’s prestigious role from Wednesday. This is not just a matter of artistic inspiration – an official remake of the entertaining thriller of a common man Neeraj Pandey. Kingsley acted with Ben Cross, rebuilding a stressful story for an international audience.
2. Vicky Donor (2012) – delivery man (2013)
While the number is wildly different – Vins Vaugan’s character has remained in the heart of both films of both films – 533 children compared to 53 of Ayushman Khurrana. The delivery man may have increased chaos, but it is outstanding his base for groundbreaking breeding health and paternity of Vicky Donor.
3. Dar (1993) – Fear (1996)
It is beyond a subject. The fear of James Foli not only loves the obsessive stacker element and a triangle with a triangle, but also mimics a reputed moment where Shah Rukh Khan’s character takes the name of KKKKK-Kiran to his chest. Mark Wahlberg played an American counterpart, taking psychological stress to new heights in a high school setting.
4. Rengela (1995) – Win the date with Tad Hamilton! (2004)
A simple girl, her best friend, and a glamorous film star echo the plot of Triangle Rengela. While the Tapori Act of Aamir Khan may not have a direct parallel, the narrative thread of the girl selecting between fame and familiar affection is equally similar.
5. Abhay (2001) – Kill Bill (2003)
Tarantino himself confirmed Anurag Kashyap that some action scenes in the Kill Bill were inspired by Kamal Haasan-Star Abhay. The film, a Hindi conversion of the Tamil film Aalavandhan, mixes intense competition with a psychological story – the tartino styled revenge saga echoed in the echoing elements.
6. Sangam (1964) – Pearl Harbor (2001)
Despite being set against the background of the war, Pearl Harbor preference a love triangle between two best friends and a woman, which reflects the plot of Raj Kapoor’s confluence. Main difference? In the confluence, only a friend is a pilot, while Pearl Harbor sends both to the battle.
7. Jab Hum Hum Mile (2007) – Leap Year (2010)
The creators of the leap year can deny any connection, but when we meet, similarities with Jab are difficult to ignore. Both follow a strange, talkative woman on a trip to propose their lover, only to fall in love with a stranger. From the shared hotel room to the reunion of the airport, the similarities are striking.
8. Main Pyar Kun Kiya (2005) – Just Go with It (2011)
Both these films detect their roots in the 1969 Classic Cactus Flower, but also with this, similarities and main love with it are undisputed. The story closely mirrors each other, playing with Jennifer Aniston and Sushmita Sen, while playing as a deceptive doctor and Adam Sandler and Salman Khan.
9. Chhati C Butt (1975) – Hich (2005)

10. Ahwanam (1997) – Divorce Invitation (2012)
In a rare turn, SV Krishnan Reddy remake her own Telugu film Ahwanam for the Hollywood audience. Jonathan is a divorce invitation to be a divorce-starring divorce, maintaining a dramatic core of origin, with a western spin.
